The Connection Project

Framework

Developed by Dr. Kim Buck, The Connection Project is an attachment-informed, evidence-based curriculum adapted from the highly successful SABR (Sexual Addiction and Betrayal Recovery) program. While preserving the proven clinical foundation of the original curriculum, The Connection Project has been reimagined to emphasize the deeper work of building secure relationships, strengthening emotional health, and fostering authentic intimacy. Drawing on more than twenty-three years of clinical experience and the work of leading researchers and pioneers in the field, the program reflects an evolving understanding that lasting healing extends far beyond behavioral change.

The curriculum includes two distinct but complementary journeys—one supporting individuals seeking freedom from compulsive sexual behaviors through greater integrity, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships, and one guiding partners through healing from betrayal with increased confidence, healthy boundaries, and renewed hope. Together, these programs provide practical education, proven tools, and a structured framework for restoring trust, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
